REDEEMER BUFFER INSTALL

TRANSPARENT GUITAR BUFFER INSTALL KIT FOR ANY PICK-UP

List Price $65
Direct $49

Why do you need a guitar pick-up buffer?

Because your instrument's output is high impedance your pick-up will suffer from loss of fidelity due to the tone sucking effect of cable capacitance, FX pedal and amplifier loads, as well as the pick-up of stray noises through the connecting cords.  Even if you've used a hundred dollar oxygen-free low-capacitance cable, you've probably never heard how good your instrument can truly sound.  Also, rolling back your guitar's volume knob raises the impedance even more and you get all the more tone suck.  A good guitar buffer kit will fix all this.  Check out Premier Guitar's Strat Install!

Old guitar buffer circuit designs got a bad reputation because they colored the tone, added noise and distortion; and if the battery ever died so did your signal. The Redeemer's innovative new circuitry solves all these problems!  Listen to what it does for a lap steel guitar and check out the videos below

  • Transparent, flat frequency from 10Hz to 50kHz won't color your tone.

  • Crystal clear, flat phase response improves signal definition and image.

  • Super high input-Z more than 20Mohms, great for all pick-ups.

  • Rollback your volume without tone loss.

  • Low output-Z less than 75 ohms can drive hundreds of feet of cable, and...

  • Suppress cable noise, and...

  • Be used as a guitar signal splitter, and...

  • To plug directly into any mixer line input without using a tone killing DI box.

  • Extremely low distortion (appx. 0.0005% THD+N).

  • Extremely low noise (less than -125dBu).

  • Long battery life, 300+ hours with an alkaline battery (less than 3mA draw).

  • Dead battery mode allows enough signal so you can keep the show going.

  • 3.6V to 24VDC for extra headroom.

  • Easy Installation kit, just two wires to connect the circuit.

  • Less than the cost of a high quality, low capacitance guitar cable.

  • Appx. 1" x 3/4" x 5/16"

High impedance magnetic and piezo pick-ups benefit the most, but even active pick-ups can benefit.  Why? Because active pick-ups typically still have about a 2K ohms moderately high output impedance.  This is on purpose so they can be blended and summed together; and rolling back on the volume pot raises the impedance some more.  Adding the Redeemer install kit as your guitar's final output buffer circuit makes your instrument bullet-proof to tone loss.

Ai1 (All-In-One) BUFFER IN A JACK

SIMPLE INSTALL KIT FOR MOST GUITARS
Ai1 Redeemer

List Price $62
Direct $44

X

The same technology as found in the Redeemer Install, all in one simple gold plated jack, making installation as easy as replacing the jack in most guitars.  Many guitars, like the Les Paul and Telecaster for instance, have their jacks mounted inside a tunnel behind a mounting bezel.  The Ai1 Redeemer simplifies installation on such guitars.  Guitars that use thick panel jacks, or that have more complicated wiring (stereo outputs, or split mag/piezo set-ups) would need to use the Install version at the top of the page.

The Ai1 Redeemer is also great for adding a buffered output to volume pedals or other passive pedals, and has even been installed to add a buffered output on some mixers that we've modified.

  • All the same bullet points as the Install version, PLUS...

  • The smallest possible circuit to fit in ANY place a guitar jack was used.

  • Simple to install.

  • Convert passive pedals to buffered.
  • Add buffered outputs to analog audio gear.
  • Can be powered with up to 36VDC.
  • Optional Unity or +6dBu
  • Optional Metal or Nylon threaded jack
  • Optional Ultra High or 1 megaohm input impedance

Beltpack

REDEEMER BELT PACK

EASY BUFFERING FOR ANY BASS OR GUITAR RIG

List Price $172
Direct $129

The nearer you can put the Redeemer guitar buffer to your pick-ups the better, because any cable between your guitar and the Redeemer can start to suck your tone. That's why if you can install a Redeemer buffer circuit inside your guitar, it's the best way to go. But, sometimes you just can't. Or, maybe you have 6 guitars and don't want to buy 6 Redeemer kits (if you do have 6 guitars ask about quantity discounts).

The belt pack is simply a Redeemer guitar buffer in a convenient box to make buffering any guitar or bass easy.  A short 18" low capacitance cable is used for maximum tone preservation.

  • Great for studios, drive long cords to an amp in the iso room, while you perform in the control room.

  • Use as a crystal clean transformerless DI in the studio or live.

  • For instruments with no room to add a battery.

  • For vintage guitars you wouldn't want to alter.

  • Bypass switch allows you to accommodate vintage FX pedals.

  • 9V battery compartment.

  • Dual-color LED indicates battery and bypass status.

  • Sturdy black anodized aluminum frame stays hidden on video shoots.

  • Clips onto your strap or fits in your pocket.

  • Appx. 3.5" x 2" x 1"

STUDIO QUALITY EFFECT PEDAL BOARD BUFFERING

List Price $132
Direct $99

A Redeemer buffer circuit inside your guitar is the best way to go, but maybe you have a large pedal board and some pedals need to be re-buffered to drive the cable capacitance on towards the amplifier.

One of the worst offenders is the passive volume pedal.  A Redeemer buffer in your guitar has no problem driving the load of your effect pedals, including the 250K pot inside the volume pedal. But, pull that passive volume pedal back halfway, and now that 250K pot is trying to drive the remaining cable on toward the amplifier and your tone turns to mud because of the high impdeance of the pedal.

The inline allows you to re-buffer the guitar signal after your pedal board to complete the journey to the amplifier.  Like the belt pack, but with an input jack in-place of the input cable, and a standard 5.5 x 2.1mm tip negative barrel connector for power in-place of the bypass switch.

  • Use together with a Redeemer install or belt pack buffer for bullet-proof tone.

  • Great as a crystal clean transformerless DI in the studio or live.

  • 3.6V to 24VDC for extra headroom to accommodate overdrive or boost pedals in your effect chain.

  • 9V battery compartment.

  • LED indicates power status.

  • Sturdy black anodized aluminum frame stays hidden on video shoots.

  • Small size easily hides under pedal boards to leave more room for effects.

  • Appx. 3.5" x 2" x 1"
