We have redesigned the internal power conditioning of our products so that any voltage from 9Vrms(min) to 20Vrms(max), AC or DC, will work.  However, for best results we recommend our 12VDC Tip Negative trigger cable.  We have vetted the new PSU design in the studio and the improvements are significant.
